Well I suggest you go for Wrox programmer to programmer series:
There are book classifications including “professional” and “beginning”. Choose one based on your level of experience.
Beginning PHP, Apache, MySQL Web Development
Professional LAMP: Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP5 Web Development
Have a look at related books on their website. Download and go thru sample chapters to see if you get to like the book.
